Mera Peak Climbing

Mera Peak at 6,467 m is one of the highest officially permitted trekking peak in Nepal. It rises to the South of Everest and dominates the watershed between the heavily wooded Valleys of the Hinku and Hongu Drangkas. However, Mera is a technically straightforward peak to climb, the ascent from the Mera La is gradual and sustained, and there is relatively steep section to Mera’s central summit of around 40 degrees. In case if there is lot of snowfall the route can be long and difficult. Mera peak trek offers some of the most spectacular mountain scenery, pristine forest, and high altitude climbing in the world. From the summit you can have magnificent views of Kanchenjunga (8,586 m), Makalu(8,463 m) in the east, Everest(8,848 m) and Lhotse(8,516 m) to the north, and Ama Dablam and Cho Oyu (8,463 m)to the west.

Our Mera Peak trek is a fully organized trip and supported by our experience staff. We will be spending the nights in the tents far away from the crowded tea house. Our experience cook will prepare you a fresh and hygienic food throughout the trip. Also our climbing guide will impart a bit of basic climbing course before summitting in order to make sure that you successfully reach the top.
