Day 01: Arrive KATHMANDU- TRANSFER TO HOTEL

Day 02: KATHMANDU: Cultural Heritage, Historic Temples, Local Market Tour, Everening Aarti
Our tour Glimpse of Nepal begins from the place where Nepal was born. The Swayambunath Stupa, the Kathmandu’s oldest and the most important shrine is the monuments which mark the birthplace of the Kathmandu Valley which later developed into the country of Nepal. It is perched atop a hill on the western edge of Kathmandu valley overlooking most parts of the valley. To visit a stupa is said to be the same as meeting a Buddha in person as it represents Buddha’s mind. It offers peace, freedom and joy to the whole world and ultimately helps us to obtain perfect enlightenment.
Next, drive to Patan Durbar (Palace) square, located 5 km south of Kathmandu valley. This is a World Heritage Site and one of Nepal’s oldest royal cities, believed to have been built by the Kirant Dynasty in the third century B.C. surrounded by temples and monasteries.
Enjoy a guided stroll through old Ason local market to the vibrant Thamel market, experiencing local culture and shopping opportunities. In the late afternoon, explore the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, witnessing the mesmerizing Evening Aarti Ceremony on the banks of the Bagmati River.

Day 05: POKHARA: Trek to PHEDI & RELAX IN POKHARA
Another opportunity to get the magnificent view of the Himalayas. Morning provides a spectacular sunrise view over the giant Himalayas like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri range, Machhapuchhre and Manaslu along with green rolling hills. Then enjoy your breakfast and get ready for the start of a trek to Phedi.
Trek down through forestry trail to Dhampus Village, known for its terraced fields and mountain views, before descending to Phedi on a steep staircase. A short drive takes you back to Pokhara, where you can relax by Phewa Lake.

Day 06: CHITWAN: Fly to BHARATPUR and Drive to JUNGLE LODGE
Glimpse of Nepal tour then takes you to the Terai region of Nepal which lies in the southern part of Nepal. It is a 25-minute flight to Bharatpur and then a drive of an hour to reach lodge inside the Jungle. Welcome, briefing about the tour then check in at the lodge. After lunch we start with our jungle activities. This can be either Jeep ride or Tharu Village visit.
Jeep Safari
Scheduled morning and afternoon safaris are organized in the core area of the National Park using lodge’s owned 4X4 vehicle. Jeep safari is the preferred way to experience the dense flora and vivacious wildlife of Chitwan as we pass through various habitats following the tracks in the company of an experienced naturalist. There is an option for a full day safari as well.
In the evening, enjoy an authentic Tharu cultural dance performance.
Centuries old culture of ostensible survivors in Nepal, Tharu Dance is an amazing way of expressing the significance of festivals, farmland and the tradition of united families in the life of Tharus. The cultural performances are organized at the lodge after sunsets. We encourage guests to interact and join them in the performance.

Day 07: CHITWAN: Full Day JUNGLE SAFARI
Glimpse of Nepal tour today takes you to experience a canoe safari on the Rapti River, spotting crocodiles and exotic birds. Later, embark on a jeep safari through the Chitwan National Park, home to one-horned rhinos, Bengal tigers, and elephants.
Canoeing
We sail along the placid water of the Rapti River looking out for Crocodiles and several Wetland Species, migrants and residents and if lucky get a closer view of the Rhinos wallowing in water. Boat safari lets you enjoy the wildlife from the comforts of the boat. Boat safari is a peaceful one-hour ride that is concluded with a sundowner at the merging point of Rapti and Narayani River.

Day 08: KATHMANDU: Morning JUNGLE WALK & Return to KATHMANDU
This day is an option for jungle walks and enjoying the sunrise. Morning time is a tranquil time for bird watching. Chitwan is home to 525 species of birds that include summer migrant birds like paradise flycatcher, Indian pitta and parakeets etc. While winter birds include waterfowl, Brahminy ducks, pintails, bar-headed geese, cormorants and migratory birds from Siberia.
Get back to the resort – have a breakfast and then drive to the airport for flight back to Kathmandu.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner with cultural performances.
