Detail itinerary of Kathmandu With Nature
Day 01: Arrive KATHMANDU – afternoon visit SWAYAMBHUNATH STUPAA (Hotel Check In is after 1400 hrs)
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you warmly and assist you with your hotel check-in.
Later, visit Swayambunath Stupa, Kathmandu’s oldest and the most important shrine, perched at the top of a hill on the western edge of Kathmandu. It is the monuments which mark the birthplace of the Kathmandu Valley which later developed into the country of Nepal. Visiting the stupa is said to be the same as meeting a Buddha in person as it represents Buddha’s mind. It offers peace, freedom and joy to the whole world and ultimately helps us to obtain perfect enlightenment.

Day 02: Visit KATHMANDU DURBAR SQUARE, LOCAL MARKET, THAMEL & Late AFTERNOON PASHUPATINATH to witness the Arati
Start the day with a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring ancient palaces and temples. Stroll through the bustling Ason market, a vibrant hub of traditional Newari life, and Thamel, a lively area known for craft shops and cafes. In the evening, visit Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest Hindu temple in Nepal, to witness the mesmerizing Arati ceremony by the sacred Bagmati River.

Day 03: Drive to BALTHALI village via PANAUTI
Today after breakfast we drive to serene village of Balthali to experience Nepal’s rural charm, colorful rhododendron forests, terraced fields, and ochre painted house. The village is around 43 km southeast of Kathmandu. On the way we will visit a typical Newari village of Panauti wedged between the Punyamata and Roshi streams. Then after exploring this ancient town, we drive 4 kms to Khopasi from where we hike for an hour to Balthali Village Resort for an overnight stay. During the walk you will get a chance to see one of the oldest Hydroelectricity projects of Nepal, local villages and a terrace fields. On reaching Balthali Village Resort, welcome drinks will be served with a light snack. In the evening camp firing will be held. Typical Nepali dinner (Dhindo or Rice) with a local chicken from the village.

Day 04: Immersing in Nature at Balthali
We begin the day with meditation and yoga surrounded by nature. After breakfast, explore nearby villages to learn about the traditional lifestyle of local communities. Enjoy a gentle trek while soaking in the tranquil scenery and northern views of the Himalayan peaks.

Day 05: BALTHALI to NAMOBUDDHA
Head to Namobuddha, a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site. Interact with monks, witness the puja rituals, and enjoy views of the Himalayas (weather permitting).
Overnight at the Monastery Guest House (Very simple) and share meals with the monks. Meals here are very simple.

Day 06: Drive to KATHMANDU via BHAKTAPUR DURBAR SQUARE & BOUDHANATH STUPA
Then drive back to Kathmandu, stopping at Bhaktapur, a beautifully preserved medieval city. Spend the morning exploring Bhaktapur, a city of temples, courtyards, and palaces. Then later visit Boudhanath Stupa, the largest in Nepal and a significant Tibetan Buddhist site. Built in the 14th century, it stands as a symbol of Buddhist cosmology. Evening activities include lighting lamps, circumambulating the stupa, and enjoying its serene atmosphere.

Duration :
It is a 07-day program which focuses on the rich culture, age old spiritual spots and the ancient monuments reflecting the past history of Nepal. In addition, it also takes you to outskirts of Kathmandu valley to experience bit of rural set up of Nepal.
Season:
Between Mid-March/End April and Mid-October/Mid December
Though the tour can be done almost throughout the year with the exception in the Monsoon season but to enjoy the tour fully the ideal time would be in autumn between mid-October till mid-December where most of the time you can have an unobstructed view of the lofty Himalayas, and the weather is pleasant.
Springtime between mid -March till end of April is another good time for the tour. But during this time the weather can be a bit hazy, bit hot and also sometimes you can have rain.
But since the weather pattern is changing its hard to be precise, we just must count on our luck as well.
Clothes:
Depending on the month you choose – normally non formal dress, easy, comfortable. Layers clothing is recommended. Easy comfortable walking shoes are essential.
